They howl, like beasts and wayward wolves, not to the earthly moon, but to a devillish sky. They do not call for their brethren, they screech their pain, they tell others, run away -

"No mercy - whip - for troublemakers - crack - you know our law," the leather whip is stretched tight between gloved hands, "You do not go against the Lord."

A feral growl, a black figure launches itself at her from behind - blood-red eyes flicker and she snarls, baring pointed demonic fangs - sidesteps the lesser being, launches herself with a kick from her left foot and uses the momentum to draw her whip and snap her attacker's neck almost clean off its shoulders.

An's eyes burn a warning into all who survived her onslaught, "No mercy."



It is when An is wiping down her whip that her brother materialises beside her, a smirk on his face and hands pocketed in his jet black hoodie (a souvenir from his last trip up to the human world).

"Guten morgen, sister. I see you've been busy."

An clicks her tongue in disapproval, not bothering to look at Gilbert. "You knew what I'd be doing, Grandfather Germania mentioned it at breakfast."

Gilbert laughs, he always sounded like a snake when he did that. An cannot remember if he was the one they had sent to the Garden.

"Did he? I must not have heard him over the sound of my awesome."

Wipe. "The only thing that you are, is a bum."

"An awesome bum." A roll of eyes.

"What do you want, Gil?" An gives her whip a last swipe before fastening the weapon back to her belt, dusting off her cloak as she stands to regard her sibling.

Gilbert grins wide, fangs glinting with excitement (danger) in the light, "The new blood are here."

A small smile plays upon An's own lips, Gilbert was always so excitable. "Really now? I'm sure Ludwig can handle their entrance procedures well enough on his own."

"Aww, come on, Angie," his sister hisses at him despite the pleading whine in his voice, "Can't we go take a look? Just a look! I won't screw up Ludwig's sorting!" It was always more fun when someone was actually listening to his awesomely snarky comments about the newcomers.

His sister only shakes her head, scans her surroundings (quiet by now, the troublemakers had been tamed) and hums thoughtfully.

"Hm, I suppose."

"Awwww yeahhhh!" Gilbert gives a fist pump of awesome, before vanishing with a cloud of black smoke. His sister follows suit.

There better be some interesting ones this time.

Fffff, An, why so awesome? Why? I can totally imagine her signing her name by whipping the letter N into your skin! And your Gilbert is the perfect mix of hyperactivity and shameless arrogance.

Love the idea that they have like soldier demons who go out and tame/destroy dangerous lesser beings! What are they? I interpret them to be souls who didn't get to Hell quite right, or beings that weren't human to begin with. Mutant demons! :D
